Walyalup midfielder Caleb Serong has praised running defender Jordan Clark for his response performance in the Club’s 17-point win over Euro-Yroke.
“I thought Clarky’s drive from down back was amazing,” Serong said post-match.
“He had a tough week last week getting the run with (job).
“Tonight, he was really able to break lines for us."

Clark was instrumental in supplying run off half-back, gathering 29 disposals, 719 metres gained, and five inside 50s as he propelled Walyalup forward.
“He showed what a damaging player he is and how important he is to us,” Serong said.
Serong credited the team for grinding out an arm-wrestle win which saw Walyalup take control of the inside 50 count 27-14 in the second half.
“Any win is hard to come by in the AFL at the moment. It’s a close competition,” Serong said.
“We played the game in our front half (in the second half of the game) and really dominated field position which is the way we want to play our footy.
“We spoke about it in Adelaide when those close games didn’t go our way.
“We just really want to embrace those opportunities because that’s where you need to be to learn from those mistakes and understand what you need to do as a group.
Serong said the team will enjoy the win but will move on quickly as they travel home to face Collingwood.
“It’s always nice to come to Melbourne and celebrate a win,” Serong said.
“A six-day turn-around to Collingwood, we are excited and I think we are ready to take a scalp.”
Walyalup will face Collingwood on Friday night in front of the Purple Army at Optus Stadium in their round 11 clash next week.
