“It’s a special feeling, having been involved in a couple of Anzac weekend games,” he said.
“You get goosebumps, you sit back and take it all in for a minute there.
“It’s really special to have that many people all silent.
“It gets you ready for the match.”
Neale said Sydney would be a massive challenge this week.
“They play a similar style to us in the midfield, crash and bash, and really strong bodies,” he said.
“Plus a few outside runners who can hurt us.”
Freo have won 12 out of 19 Len Hall Tribute Matches, with eight wins from the 12 played on Anzac Day.
Freo take on Sydney at Domain Stadium this Saturday April 25. Bounce down at 6.45pm.
Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6.10pm to watch the Len Hall Tribute ceremony.
