2022 AFL Players' MVP Andrew Braysaw is once again in line for the award as one of Fremantle's three nominees.
He is joined by fellow midfielder Caleb Serong and defender Luke Ryan.
The Leigh Matthews Trophy is one of the most prestigious post-season AFL awards. Every year each team votes for three players to be in the running for the award before the whole AFL player cohort votes for the final winner.
Fremantle has a successful history in the award, with Nat Fyfe also winning in 2014 and 2015.
In other awards, Tom Emmett is in the running for the best first year player and Alex Pearce for best captain.
