Luke Jackson has been awarded the perfect 10 AFLCA Coaches’ Votes for his dominant individual performance against Brisbane on Sunday.

Both Justin Longmuir and Chris Fagan saw eye to eye on Jackson being the best player on ground in Freo’s narrow three-point loss to the Lions.

He finished the day with 15 contested possessions, five clearances, six inside 50s and he led all players with 437 metres gained.

Jackson was dominant in Champion Data’s Ranking Points, with 26.5 for the game, well ahead of the second-best on the ground in Hugh McCluggage (17.7) and almost 10 more than the next closest Fremantle player Caleb Serong (16.8).

It’s Jackson’s second lot of 10 votes for the season after his performance in round eight against Hawthorn earlier in the year.

Caleb Serong added to his coaches’ votes tally for 2023, with another four votes – bringing his total to 67 votes for the season to sit in 12th on the AFLCA leaderboard.

The 22-year-old had 13 disposals, five contested possessions, four clearances and four inside 50s in another leader’s performance.

Hayden Young also picked up four votes for his 29 disposal performance, typified by a game-high 10 tackles, as well as seven clearances, five score involvements and 413 metres gained.

Young ran with Brisbane's Lachie Neale for significant periods of the match, with the rebounding defender shifted into the midfield over the past two weeks.

Brisbane’s Jarrod Berry, Hugh McCluggage, Lincoln McCarthy and Harris Andrews rounded out the votes.
