An all-for-one approach has again been fruitful for Fremantle’s forward line, according to Josh Treacy.
Fremantle enjoyed consecutive wins from scores of more than 100 points, backing up their 69-point win against Hawthorn with a 17-point win against Sydney at the SCG.
Justin Longmuir once again went with three tall forwards, and Treacy, Luke Jackson and Jye Amiss all had multiple goals.
Treacy wasn’t far behind Jackson (three goals) on the highlight reel, taking a screamer at half back from Luke Ryan’s kick in, while being one of Fremantle’s best in the contest as he crashed packs in trademark Treacy fashion.

The 20-year-old also had 14 disposals going at 100 per cent efficiency in what commentators called a career-best performance.
“It was (the tall forwards) ability to work together,” Treacy said.
“It’s something we’ve been working on, with all of us hitting in together and helping each other rather than leaving each other out to dry.
“The ability to help each other worked well.
“I want to be a presence all around the ground, to chase, tackle, hit packs. All across the board.
“It’s not about kicking goals and taking marks in the air. It’s all aspects of the game that matters.”
Treacy said Fremantle are only seeing the start of what Jackson can do at AFL level.
The 200cm forward/ ruck was among Freo’s best and kicked a spectacular goal after marking, playing on and running around two Swans defenders.
“He’s a superstar,” Treacy said.
“He’s an athlete and is an unbelievable footballer. He’s also a good bloke.
“He has all the attributes and I think he’s only getting started.”
Treacy also praised small forward Lachie Schultz, who backed up a brave and bruising effort against the Hawks to kick four goals against Sydney.
“He’s so reliable, ‘Shooter’. You know what you’re going to get every week and he showed up again today,” Treacy said.
“I don’t think there’s any player who shows more courage. He’s was pretty battered and bruised from last week, so for him to show up and go again, that was unbelievable.”
