Fremantle defender Zac Dawson is able to train unhindered despite still recovering from a broken thumb.
Dawson broke his thumb in his first game of the year for Peel Thunder in the WAFL two weeks ago.
Fremantle sports science manager Jason Weber said Dawson was able to train with a cast on his hand.
In other good news for Fremantle’s defensive stocks, Alex Silvagni is progressing well and All Australian Michael Johnson is back running after a hamstring injury.
“Michael is doing really well, he’s up and running and progressing,” Weber said.
“Youngster Ed Langdon suffered a hamstring injury playing for Peel but is expected to miss minimal football.
