Fremantle have made two forced changes for Saturday’s clash with Adelaide at Adelaide Oval, with Brandon Walker and Bailey Banfield coming into the team.
They replace the injured Heath Chapman (calf) and Michael Frederick (eye).
Frederick has been ruled out by a specialist for at least this week’s game with an eye injury sustained in the RAC Derby.
Chapman also sustained his injury in the clash, and was subbed off in the third quarter and replaced by substitute Matthew Johnson.
Johnson has again been named as an emergency, alongside Will Brodie, Josh Corbett and potential debutant Josh Draper.
One of the four will be confirmed as the substitute an hour before bouncedown.
In his mid-week media conference, Senior Coach Justin Longmuir said it was likely Johnson would again be named as the substitute.
“We saw some of his strengths with his composure in the contest. It can be hard to come into a game like that and go onto the wing,” Longmuir said.
“I thought he had a good impact, we got him on the ball late which is probably going to be a role later in his career.
“A similar role (against Adelaide) will probably fit.”
The players will spend 10 days in South Australia as they take on the Crows and then Gold Coast in Gather Round on Friday 14 April.
Bouncedown for Saturday’s clash is at 1.15pm CST (11.45am WST) and will be broadcast live into WA on Foxtel and via stream on Kayo.
The game is one of Fremantle’s free-to-air holdback games under the AFL’s broadcast agreement and will be broadcast on delay into WA on Channel 7 at 2pm.
