POSITION: Wing / half back
DRAFTED FROM: East Fremantle
After a strong 2022 and training with Fremantle throughout Season 7 as a train on, Flynn officially joins the squad after another impressive start to the WAFLW season.
The state league basketballer has been playing off a wing or half back, with her run and carry a feature of her game.
Flynn's athleticism was also on display at the WAFLW preseason testing.
Flynn is averaging 15 disposals in the WAFLW this season and has shown excellent composure and efficiency by hand and foot.
AFLW Senior Coach Lisa Webb said Flynn would be an asset on the wing.
“Jae is a really good winger and I have been really impressed with her ball use,” Webb said.
“Her game awareness is great and she has shown the ability to make some big tackles, but also her skills and ability to execute a role within a structure is really good.”
“She is a really good character and has a good set of hands.
“Jae has worked really hard on her game, is really good by foot and has a good read on the ball.
“She has also shown that she is clean below her knees and covers the ground well.”
