Standing at 187cm, Fiedler has shown plenty of promise leading the ruck for East Fremantle in the WAFLW.
Quite new to football, Fiedler's improvement in the ruck has Fremantle excited about the upside in her game.
Fiedler is leading the WAFLW competition in hitouts - averaging 20 hit outs per match, with her athleticism and follow up work making her an exciting prospect.
AFLW Senior Coach Lisa Webb said Fiedler adds crucial height to Fremantle’s AFLW list.
“We have been looking for a tall and what stood out with her was her finesse in her ruck taps,” Webb said.
“She has come from a volleyball background and ability to hit the ball to the advantage of her inside midfielders is what really stood out for me.
“Playing at East Fremantle in the WAFLW, she was giving first use to players like Gabby O’Sullivan in the middle.
“We also really like her ability to cover the ground, she can really clock up some kilometres and really likes the contest.
“She will be a really good addition to our talls and is still learning the game, so she is really keen to keep developing her ruck craft.”
