Fremantle defender Luke Ryan has again polled well in the AFLCA coaches' votes for round two.

Ryan was a rock down back in the one-point loss to North Melbourne on Saturday, earning five votes from the coaches.

He had 30 disposals running at 91 per cent efficiency, with 10 marks, eight intercept possessions and 716 metres gained.

Ryan sits equal fourth in the standings after he earned seven votes in round one against St Kilda.

Sam Switkowski and Andrew Brayshaw were the only other Fremantle players to earn votes, with two each.

Switkowski was a presence both forward and in the midfield, with a goal, eight score involvements and eight contested possessions.

Brayshaw had a strong midfield performance with 29 disposals, eight contested possessions, seven tackles and five marks.
