Fremantle have finalised a trade with West Coast for Amy Franklin.
The Club will receive the Eagles’ first two selections, pick 3 and 21, in the upcoming AFL Women’s Season Eight Supplementary Draft in exchange for the 20-year-old.
The number 14 pick in the 2021 draft elected to opt out of her current contract ahead of the upcoming AFLW Season.
Franklin played 12 games across her two seasons at the Club playing primarily as a forward.
This follows the Club landing utility Serena Gibbs in a trade with Carlton in exchange for Tahlia Read.
The AFLW Sign and Trade period ends on Monday 20 March and as it stands Fremantle hold the first four picks in the WA-based AFLW Season Eight Supplementary Draft, which equates to picks 3,7,21,25 heading in the overall Draft to be held on Tuesday 4 April.
