Fremantle coach Ross Lyon provided some light entertainment during the broadcast of the NAB Challenge loss against West Coast as he attempted to commentate a goal by ruckman Jack Hannath.

FOX Footy was interviewing Lyon just before half-time from the dugout when commentator Dwayne Russell asked the Freo senior coach to call the next passage of play.

Thrust into a role more familiar to Dennis Cometti, Lyon showed his renowned composure to call the goal.

Unfortunately, Lyon's commentating career will have to be put on hold as he'll be back in the driver's seat next Wednesday when Freo takes on the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium.
