Meet Carol Beats.
Carol has been a Fremantle Dockers member for 10 years, and was one of the first to secure her seat for 2013.
Carol admitted she was having withdrawal symptoms already but had her footy fix all sorted.
“I’ve taped all the games from this year, and we’ll sit down as a family and watch them all again,” she said.
Carol said the atmosphere at home games was what she loved about being a member.
“The crowd is what makes the games, I love being a part of it all,” she said.
Over her years of membership, Carol recalls a moment in 2005 as her highlight so far.
“It was the Justin Longmuir goal after the siren to beat St Kilda,” she said.
“Justin kicked the goal, and the footy hit my friend in the face. His glasses broke, but I was too busy cheering and I couldn’t care less.”
Carol has also issued some advice to fans thinking about getting on board for 2013.
“It’s a great club to join, very friendly and family orientated and that’s what I find, for families it’s very good,” she said.
“I take my son, son-in-law and granddaughter, there is quite a few of us that come along.
“It’s a good family day out, Freo are a great club to be part of and I can’t wait for season 2013”
