Fremantle have invited four WAFL-listed players to train with the AFL playing group from Thursday as the Club looks to potentially fill a list spot vacated after the retirement of Luke Valente.
South Fremantle’s Blake Schlensog, Claremont’s Bailey Rogers and Peel’s Lachlan Cullen and Luke Polson are all in consideration for Supplementary Selection Period selection, should Fremantle choose to do so prior to the 9 March deadline.

Cullen and Polson have already spent time this pre-season training with the Club in their match sims as a part of Fremantle’s alignment with the Thunder.
Rogers is the reigning Sandover Medallist after the midfielder averaged 27 disposals and just over one goal per game from his 21 appearances in 2021.
Schlensog was formally listed by Geelong and is a 199cm key position player. The 22-year-old Cullen is a forward while the 18-year-old Polson can play forward, back and pinch-hit in the ruck.
Executive General Manager of Football Peter Bell said the group would be in consideration to be added in either the SSP or in the mid-season draft.
“Even if we didn’t decide to add one of them before 9 March we could take a look at them for the mid-season draft,” Bell told The West Australian.
