Fremantle’s new documentary 23 Days of Fight will premiere at 6pm on Friday evening and will be must-see TV for Fremantle supporters and all fans of the NAB AFL Women’s Competition.
The documentary follows Freo’s AFLW team throughout their 23 days interstate, playing five games in Victoria and Tasmania and returning home with four wins.
Vice captain Ange Stannett, leader Gabby O’Sullivan and first-year player Airlie Runnalls are the featured players as they go through the highs of experiencing life as full-time footballers to the lows amid the uncertainty around WA’s border closures.

There is also exclusive game day insight inside the rooms with senior coach Trent Cooper’s rousing speeches as well as listening in on captain Hayley Miller’s constructive feedback immediately following Fremantle’s win against the Western Bulldogs.
The highlight arguably comes as Stannett receives a special surprise as she battles living away from her partner Tash Rigby – the captain of the Perth Glory womens’ team – with the pair bracing to spend up to three months apart as they play their respective sports in different parts of the country.
The 45-minute documentary can be viewed in full via fremantlefc.com.au and on the Club’s ‘Docker TV’ YouTube channel.
