Introduction
Born in Cheju Island, South Korea, Peter Bell spent his early years growing up in Kojonup WA and attended Aquinas College in Perth, progressing his football at South Fremantle in the WAFL. Peter joined the Fremantle Football Club as one of the club’s first signings and playing in the club’s first AFL game. Peter moved to the North Melbourne Football Club, playing 123 games, including premierships in 1996 and 1999. Peter returned to Fremantle in 2001 and went on to play a further 161 games, finishing his career on 286 games, 2 times All Australian, 3 times Doig Medallist and 5 years as captain of the Fremantle Football Club. Peter is a Life Member of the Fremantle Dockers and is in the AFL Hall of Fame.

The Fremantle Football Clubs Next Generation Peter Bell Squad is for players aged under 14 years. This academy focuses on building a strong platform of the basic skills required as part of the pathway to play AFL football.
