Fremantle's round 19 clash with Sydney has shifted again, with David Mundy's 350th game to be played at Metricon Stadium on Sunday 25 July.
The Swans home game was originally fixtured to be played at the SCG and then GMHBA Stadium, but needed to be moved a second time amid the evolving Covid-19 situation across the country.
Bounce down for the clash is at 12.30pm EST (10.30am WST).
Mundy will become the 18th AFL/VFL player to reach the 350-game mark in the clash. He joins Matthew Pavlich as the second Fremantle Docker to reach the milestone.
Fremantle will now work with the AFL and relevant local authorities in regards to the conditions to be adhered to in order to travel in and out of Queensland.
Fremantle CEO Simon Garlick said the Club was committed to working with the AFL to ensure the season could continue whilst ensuring the health and well-being of the community isn’t compromised in any way.
“We are pleased to have some clarity around our round 19 fixture, which will now be played at Metricon Stadium,” Garlick said.
“Over the past 18 months, all clubs, including their players and families, have made sacrifices to ensure the competition continues.
"We'll determine what our return to WA will look like but the reality is, it is not an unfamiliar position to be in. We know our players and staff will approach the next period as they have all other challenges over the last 18 months.
“It also means we get to come back to WA and play our string of three home games in a row at Optus Stadium.”
