Fremantle are set to battle the elements, as well as the Magpies, in Saturday's clash with Collingwood at Marvel Stadium.
Rarely when the Marvel Stadium roof is open, it's on a sunny day in Melbourne, however the AFL announced that the roof will be opened to ensure the stadium could have the maximum allowable capacity of 25,000 as per Victorian Government requirements.
Fortunately, while rain is predicted on Saturday, it is expected to ease by the 1.45pm bouncedown, while the mercury is set to peak at 12C.
Fans are also reminded, as per all matches in Victoria this weekend and in line with community wide mask restrictions, all fans, aged 12 and above, will be required to wear a face mask when indoors and when moving throughout both the MCG and Marvel Stadium, unless they have a medical exemption – this includes when entering and exiting the stadium, inside function rooms, going to the bathroom or when purchasing food and beverage or merchandise.
Fans are not required to wear a facemask when in their allocated seats.
