Hawthorn forward Mitchell Lewis has been offered a one-week suspension for striking Caleb Serong during the fourth quarter of Fremantle's clash with Hawthorn at Optus Stadium.
He was one of four Hawthorn players cited by the AFL's Match Review Officer while no Fremantle players were cited.
Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as a Intentional Conduct, Low Impact, High Contact. The incident was classified as a one-match sanction as a first offence. Lewis can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea.
In other incidents Jaegar O'Mera was offered a $2000 for striking Serong, Jonathan Ceglar was offered a $2000 sanction for rough conduct against Michael Walters and Jack Scrimshaw was offered a $1000 sanction for tripping Nat Fyfe.
