Group chat banter the motivator behind Freddy brilliance

Following a disappointing round three match against the Blues, Fremantle responded against the Hawks back at home to claim a hard-fought victory.

 

Here's how the game day went down.

The debutant Josh Treacy took it all in for the first time out on Optus Stadium alongside Heath Chapman, we kept a running joke going.

The forecast wasn't looking good all day, but luckily enough the Optus Stadium deck dried up ahead of bounce down and stayed dry for the entire game.

Treacy shared a special moment with his family.

Fremantle came out firing, kicking five first-quarter goals, keeping the Hawks to none.

We made sure everyone knew that David Mundy is good at football.

Sean Darcy took a much-needed mark and goal to help steady the ship after a spirited second term from the Hawks.
