Peel Thunder moved into third position on the WAFL ladder with a 21-point win against Claremont on Saturday.
A number of Freo listed players had solid performances in the victory, and Senior Development/Assistant Coach Peter Sumich gave his performance review of the game.
Sam Collins
Played full back and was solid all game. His spoiling was very good and took six marks, stopping Claremont’s attack and giving us a chance to counter-attack.
Alex Silvagni
Played key position role down back and gave a great contest all game, and provided great leadership in defence.
Ryan Nyhuis
Played halfback and had a solid game. He held his own in one-on-one contests and was composed with the ball when coming out defence.
Ethan Hughes
Played across halfback and had a good game. Had 23 touches and his ball use was solid while running off half back and creating attacking play.
Anthony Morabito
Played halfback and defended really well all game on his opponent. He often got to the contest to spoil, and his run off halfback in the final quarter was very good.
Connor Blakely
Played midfield all game and was very good in tight in the contest getting the ball to our outside runners. Had 29 touches and was good late in the game
Matt de Boer
Played midfield and had some good clearances and his inside work was very good. His leadership late in the game was very beneficial for the team
Tendai Mzungu
Played wing and worked hard as usual. His hardness late in the game in a few contests broke it open for us and his run from the wing set us up with some real scoring chances.

Josh Deluca
Played half-forward and kicked two goals. His work rate and pressure around the contest was impressive and pushed up to the wing in the last quarter.
Tanner Smith
Played key forward position and in the ruck. He took 12 marks and provided a contest in the air throughout the game.
Matthew Uebergang
Played key forward, gave us a solid target on the lead all game and is growing with each game he plays
Jack Hannath
Played in the ruck and worked hard around the ground all game.
Nick Suban
Played midfield and was good in and around the contest and his spread from the stoppages was good as well.
Ed Langdon
Played wing and provided good run throughout the game. His use of the ball was impressive late in the game and his run into space was important late in the game.
