Experienced midfielder Matt de Boer’s inclusion is one of four changes for Fremantle ahead of the clash with the Western Bulldogs at Domain Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Matthew Pavlich, Aaron Sandilands and Zac Dawson have also been recalled at the expense of Zac Clarke, Jon Griffin, Sam Collins and Matt Taberner.
De Boer has been in good form for Peel Thunder, averaging 30 disposals per game in the WAFL and returns to play just his fourth game of the season.
Your guide to Pav's farewell
He will lineup alongside Pavlich, who returns at the expense of young forward Taberner, while Aaron Sandilands will carry the ruck workload as Griffin and Clarke are omitted.
Sandilands missed last week’s game against GWS because of a gluteal and returns to play in Pavlich’s final AFL game. The two veterans have been teammates for 15 years.
Dawson returns from suspension to replace Collins and will bring experience to the defensive unit.
Taberner, Griffin and Tendai Mzungu have been named as emergencies for the match.
Bounce down is 2.40pm WST at Domain Stadium on Sunday 28 August.
