Fremantle midfielder Kiara Bowers has polled a perfect 10 coaches votes from Fremantle’s round seven match against Carlton on Sunday 14 March at Ikon Park.
Having an impact all over the ground, Bowers finished her game with 28 disposals, 10 tackles, 10 clearances and five score involvements from Freo’s 15 scoring shots.
Bowers becomes the only player to have received 10 votes on nine separate occasions in her career, ahead of Collingwood’s Brianna Davey who has received perfect votes in seven games.
The star midfielder now leads by eight votes on 57 ahead of Collingwood’s Brittany Bonnici and North Melbourne’s Jasmin Garner who are both tied on 49 votes.
Jasmin Stewart (two votes) and Stephanie Cain (one vote) were the only other Fremantle players to receive coaches votes for the game.
Stewart had a crucial impact on the scoreboard for Fremantle with two goals, while Cain was influential in setting up Freo’s offense from the wing, kicking one goal herself.
