Fremantle forward has revealed his target date for a return after injuring his hamstring in the AAMI Community Series against West Coast at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
Speaking to Triple M, Walters said that he was eyeing a round two return, played against GWS on Sunday 28 March at Optus Stadium.
Despite his hopes, he conceded that it could slip out to round three or four.
“I’m hopeful for Round 2 or 3, but it’s just a waiting game to see how it pulls up,” Walters told Triple M.
“It’s one of those things, hamstrings, you just never know. Because of my age, I’m 30, we sort of need to take our time with it as well.
“But I’m feeling pretty confident that I should be back Round 3 or 4.”
