Freo fans, here’s your chance to secure a limited-edition piece of history.
From Friday 13 November until Monday 23 November fans will have the opportunity to bid on a select few of Fremantle’s match worn Indigenous clash jumpers, worn in their round 15 match against Richmond at Metricon Stadium.
Both the home and clash Indigenous jumpers were designed by past player Antoni Grover, who played 202 games for Fremantle, and his sisters Nicole and Alicia King.
In recognition of NAIDOC Week all funds raised from the auction will go towards the Club’s Next Generation Academy which aims to grow the game by identifying and developing talented Indigenous footballers from the Kimberley region.
Only eight jumpers will be available for fans to bid on, with the other 14 being donated to remote communities and Indigenous partners in the Kimberley region and Metropolitan Area to be used for award and recognition in their relevant schooling programs.
Not only were these jumpers match worn, they were not produced for retail sale so make sure you bid now to secure one of these rare items!
