The 2020 Doig Medal Presentation Dinner will be held on Thursday 22 October, streamed live from the Grand Ballroom at Crown Perth.

While the presentation of the Doig Medal will highlight the evening, Fremantle will also acknowledge the club’s best up and coming player with the Beacon Award.

Previous winners of the Beacon Award include Scott Chisholm, Paul Hasleby, Stephen Hill, David Mundy, Alex Pearce and Luke Ryan.

The award uses similar eligibility criteria as the AFL’s rising star award. Players need to have played less than 10 games at the start of the season, however there is no restriction on age.
