Fremantle’s blockbuster match against Essendon on Saturday 9 May will have an Indigenous flavour, plus the chance for fans to win great prizes.
The club’s proud Major Sponsor and Indigenous Program Partner Woodside is the match day sponsor for the Round 6 match at Domain Stadium.
Before the match, two Clontarf Academy football teams will play as part of the Woodside Cup Curtain Raiser.
Richard Walley, who designed the club’s inaugural Indigenous jumper, will perform a Welcome to Country ceremony and toss the coin.
Woodside volunteers will hand out thousands of purple Forever Freo Woodside rally towels to fans in the precinct before the game.
At half time, a camera will pan across the stadium and if you’re on the big screen and wave your rally towel you have the chance to win some awesome prizes, thanks to Woodside.
Among them are two double passes to Matthew Pavlich’s Testimonial Dinner at Crown Perth on Friday 26 June and a Fremantle Dockers merchandise pack worth over $600, including a signed team Guernsey.
Make sure you get to the game early as there are a limited number of towels.
Bounce down is at 6.10pm.
