In very unsurprising news, Adam Cerra’s spectacular goal against Melbourne has been nominated for the Coates Hire Goal of the Year for round 16.
In the wet with the game on the line, Cerra delivered an unbelievable check-side snap to help Freo secure a 14-point win at Cazaly’s Stadium in Canberra.
His goal is up against Bobby Hill of GWS and Jordan Dawson of Sydney.
