The timing of Fremantle’s round 18 fixture against the Western Bulldogs has been confirmed, with the clash to be played on Sunday 20 September at 4.10pm AWST (6.10pm local time) at Cazaly’s Stadium in Cairns.
After a run of four games in 15 days between rounds 14 and 17, the Freo players will have a well deserved eight-day break before taking on the Bulldogs, who will have a seven-day break.
The clash is set to be Fremantle’s final game of the 2020 season, with Freo only a small mathematical chance to play finals, even if they win their upcoming games against North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs.
The clash is designated as a Fremantle ‘home’ game and will be broadcast live into WA on Fox Footy and the Seven network.
Fans should be advised that this Saturday’s game against North Melbourne at Metricon Stadium will be on delayed free to air under the AFL’s broadcast agreement.
While the game will be broadcast live on Fox Footy from 12.10pm, it will be delayed into WA on Channel 7 from 2pm.
