Fremantle faces a selection dilemma this week with Tendai Mzungu and Matt Taberner pushing to be included to face Geelong at Simonds Stadium on Sunday.
Both players were in Freo's best 22 last season, but after interrupted pre-seasons they both played in the WAFL last week.
Thunder power to first win of 2015
Taberner was impressive in the first NAB Challenge match against Melbourne on 5 March kicking three goals but he missed the next two matches with Achilles soreness.
Mzungu suffered a minor hamstring injury in the NAB Challenge match against the Sydney Swans on 15 March and did not return until last weekend.
Taberner produced a dominant display up forward for Peel Thunder in the WAFL last weekend gathering 14 touches, seven marks and kicking four goals. Mzungu collected 25 disposals in a polished display.
Both men were out on the training track at Fremantle Oval on Wednesday morning.
Zac Clarke was a notable absentee but there is no indication he is carrying an injury of any description. Zac Dawson (groin), Alex Silvagni (hamstring) and Anthony Morabito (knee) were the only others missing from the main session.
Veteran defender Luke McPharlin did some light running on his own as a part of his normal week-to-week management. Fellow veterans Aaron Sandilands, Matthew Pavlich and Michael Johnson were also wearing runners doing low intensity running along with youngster Lachie Weller.
Weller also put himself in the selection frame with an impressive display for Peel last week. The first-round draft pick from last year gathered 22 disposals and kicked three goals from the midfield.

Fremantle defender Paul Duffield said on Tuesday he was glad he doesn't have to make the tough selection decisions.
"I don't sit on the match committee and I probably wouldn't want to," Duffield said.
"I think both (Mzungu and Taberner) had really strong performances in the WAFL. That's the great thing about where the group is at and where the club is at the moment. We have lots of depth and they're quality players as well.
"I think Lachie Weller had a really good game and Connor Blakely was right there as well as an emergency. It's great for the club that the youth is improving coming forward and we'll have to see how that unfolds."
Duffield wary of wounded Geelong
While the Dockers have a relatively healthy squad to choose from this week the Cats face some issues following Monday's loss to Hawthorn.
Jimmy Bartel will be touch and go after he was concussed late in the final term.
Ruckman Dawson Simpson is also in doubt as he awaits the results of scans to his injured shoulder.
Experienced defender Andrew Mackie should be right to return after he was a late withdrawal against the Hawks due to quad tightness.
