FREMANTLE has recalled Ryan Murphy, Clayton Hinkley and Scott Thornton as it rallies to play attacking football against the Sydney Swans on Saturday.
Coach Mark Harvey flagged a more direct game style on Wednesday after a stuttered performance against St Kilda only produced 4.4.
Murphy, who booted seven goals in the WAFL a fortnight ago, will address the goalkicking, while Thornton and Hinkley will bring some run and carry to the side.
"Ryan (Murphy) has played two really good games for South Fremantle in the WAFL. He's kicked 10 goals in the last two weeks," football administration manager Brent Dawkins said.
"Hopefully he can carry that performance through to AFL level this week.
"Clayton travelled with the team and was unlucky to miss last week, while Scott played the first two games and has gone back and played the last two with South Fremantle.
"He's been providing some run and carry with the ball across half-back."
Daniel Gilmore, Kepler Bradley and Josh Head have all been omitted.
Young ruckman Zac Clarke and rookie-elevated Matt de Boer are emergencies along with Michael Walters, who was named in the squad of 25 for the first time.
"They were three young players taken in the drafts. So that's exciting that they're around the place," Dawkins said.
"It shows that they're knocking on the door to get a senior berth.
"They've played some good football at the WAFL level and are not too far away from making their debuts with Fremantle."
Dawkins said with Stephen Hill and Nic Suban holding their spots in the side it wasn't too long until the club blooded another recruit.
Potential debutant Walters finds himself in the squad after an impressive initiation into senior football at WAFL level this year.
"He played state 18s and has stepped up to playing against mature age men this year," Dawkins said.
"He's played on the ball and as a small forward, showing good skills and an exceptional kick on both his left and right foot."

LEN HALL GAME
Saturday night’s game under lights is the 14th annual Len Hall Game and will again be held on Anzac Day – celebrating the Anzac spirit of courage, sacrifice and mateship.
The club encourages all members and supporters to get to the ground in plenty of time to be part of the commemorative service. The Len Hall Game ceremony begins at 6.20pm sharp and concludes with the national anthem just before bounce-down at 6.45pm.
Fremantle has won eight Len Hall Games and lost on five occasions. This will be the seventh match held on Anzac Day since the game's inception in 1996.
