The AFL Match Review Panel has charged Nick Suban with a misconduct offence for making unreasonable and unnecessary contact to the face of Hawthorn's Sam Mitchell during the first quarter of the Grand Final.

The alleged offence is not classified under the MRP's guidelines and was referred straight to the Tribunal.
