Max started the day in a positive fashion, tackling strongly and putting good pressure on at the stoppages. He worked hard up the ground in defensive transition. Unfortunately he tightened up in the hamstring and came off early in the second quarter and was done for the day.

Alex made his league debut and had a positive contribution in East Fremantle's win against West Perth. He created the first goal of the day with a good ball gather, side step and an inside 50 kick to advantage. He competed well in the air launching where possible to take five marks for the day. He outworked his direct opponent, took the ruck responsibility in the forward 50 and competed well using his athleticism. It was a positive first outing for Alex.
Jesse Crichton (PT) 22 disposals (11 kicks, 11 handballs) 5 marks
Jesse started inside mid where he showed good run, aggression and effort accumulating 15 touches and seven clearances in the first half. He faded in the second but he will look to build on his run and effort for the remainder of the season.
Alex Forster (PT) 5 disposals (3 kicks, 2 handballs)
Alex went forward in the first quarter and then went to the backline in the second quarter. He laboured due to a lower back problem and subsequently took no further part in the game after half time.
Matt Taberner (PT) 15 disposals (11 kicks, 4 handballs) 7 marks, 1 goal
Matt played forward with a brief stint on the wing. Peel had a day where they struggled but Matt worked hard for his possessions and stuck at it on a tough day. He took three contested marks and was constantly an option for the team coming out of defence. Overall, Matt needs to continue to build on his game, constantly bring the effort he's been bringing, week in, week out.
Craig Moller (PT) 5 disposals (3 kicks, 2 handballs) 15 hitouts
Craig played key forward and ruck where he had 15 hitouts and three clearances. He attempted to apply forward pressure but, overall, it was a tough day for Craig.
Jack Hannath (PT) 6 disposals (4 kicks, 2 handballs) 35 hitouts
Jack played key forward and ruck where he dominated the hitouts and assisted his team in winning the clearances. Overall, he worked hard with his follow up and spoils but he needs to focus on winning more of the footy.
Haiden Schloithe (SF) 23 disposals (11 kicks, 12 handballs) 4 marks, 2 goals
Haiden started the game well, playing as an inside mid. South Fremantle dominated the game, so Haiden looked to work hard forward. He had 17 disposals, two goals and three clearances in the first half. He played forward in the second half where he flashed in and out of the game, but overall got a lot of the football. Haiden plays his best football as a mid, when he shows a high work rate to get to the contest and stay close over four quarters.
Josh Mellington (WP) 25 disposals (15 kicks, 10 handballs) 4 marks, 2 goals
Josh started the day as an inside midfielder. When the ball was in his immediate area he competed well, winning four clearances and gathering 17 possessions as a midfielder, running both offensively and defensively. In the second half he went into a high forward role. He got to work in the last quarter where he hit in at the stoppages and released hard front and square impacting a number of times. He finished the game with 25 disposals and kicked two goals. Overall, it was a productive effort from Josh.
