Highlights – Griffin averaged 22 hitouts a game in 2013, with his stand out game against Essendon in round three where he gathered 32 hitouts and five tackles. He had a season high 21 disposals in Fremantle’s one point win over Richmond in round five.
Summary – With Aaron Sandilands absent for the start of the season, Griffin stepped up as Fremantle’s number one ruckman. He started the season strong before suffering a knee injury in the round seven match against Collingwood which ended his year
Outlook: Griffin will look to a return in 2014 after undergoing knee surgery. He has been working hard in rehab.
