Pavlich surgery required
Fremantle captain Matthew Pavlich will undergo surgery on his left Achilles
General manager football operations Chris Bond said the procedure was deemed to be the best course of action for Pavlich.
“Matthew’s Achilles flared up last weekend after Friday night's match and, following an assessment by club medical staff and specialists, it was determined that the best course of action for him is surgery," Bond said.
Pavlich had a similar procedure performed on his right Achilles at the end of the 2012 season.
