Tendai Mzungu trained with the main group at Fremantle Oval this morning as he attempts to prove his fitness for Sunday’s game against Hawthorn.
Mzungu injured his hamstring in the round 19 match against Carlton and missed last Saturday’s game against Geelong.
The utility is listed as a test for this weekend, and will be pushing to be fit and available for selection.
Nat Fyfe and Michael Walters also trained with the main squad.
Walters had his first game back for Peel Thunder on Saturday after injuring his ankle in round three when Fremantle played the Hawks at the MCG.
Nick Suban, Michael Johnson and Hayden Ballantyne ran laps of Fremantle Oval before heading inside the gym before the session had finished.
Stephen Hill was missing from the track. Hill injured his ankle during the Geelong game but played out the entire game.
Fremantle will have a closed training session on Friday morning before the game against Hawthorn this Sunday 17 August at Patersons Stadium at 2.40pm.
The preliminary 25-man squad will be named at 4.25pm WST on Thursday.
The final 22 to take on the Hawks will be announced on fremantlefc.com.au at 3pm on Friday.
