Jonathon Griffin will be one step closer to his AFL return when he lines up for Peel Thunder on Saturday afternoon when they take on Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval at 2.15pm.
The ruck man endured a season ending knee injury against Collingwood in round 7 last year.
He will join new recruit, Jacob Ballard to debut for Peel in Saturday's match.
