It meant that the AFL Dream Team and Tipping competitions had come to an end for another year.
Freo’s own competitions went right down to the wire, with both Dream Team and Tipping being decided on the final round of the home and away season.
Coach Rosemary P and her team Muv took out the Freo Players and Fans Dream Team Group with a nail-biting victory over Jacob D’s 33ManWolfPack FFC.
Rosemary scored a total of 51,664 points for the season, just 13 ahead of Jacob, who also featured prominently in Freo’s 2010 Dream Team comp.
Tipping was just as close, with Joe, going by the username Bragging Rights, just pipping the chasing pack.
Joe finished on 148 tips for the season - a fine effort. Three other tipsters tied for second with 146 tips.
