Fremantle Oval turned into a sea of purple on Wednesday afternoon as more than 400 primary school aged children attended the HBF School Holiday Clinic.
The playing squad conducted the session that went for three hours and included activities such as tug-of-war, handball target drill and a goal kicking session.
Nick Suban said it was great to see so many young fans joining in on the day.
“Michael Barlow just asked me how many Freo jumpers I thought were out there,” Suban said.
“I wouldn’t be able to count but there’s definitely plenty of purple and white out there.”
The 24-year-old said the day brought back fond memories from his childhood.
Growing up in country Victoria, Suban supported St Kilda and Robert Harvey was his favourite player.
“I went to a clinic run by the Saints when I was really young,” Suban said.
“I remember it being a great day, so I can imagine how the kids are feeling today.”
“I know the players enjoying getting out there among the kids, so I’d say everyone has had a pretty good afternoon.”
