Recent fixtures between the sides have been heated contests, and Scott wasn’t expecting it to be any different this weekend given what was at stake.
"It's pretty simple, really, we want our players to play near the edge because that's what competitors do," he said.
“We're expecting Fremantle to be the same.”
But Scott added that the rules were clear, and he hoped his side would stay within them.
"Our players are really clear on what you can and can't do and we won't be stepping over that edge."
