Fremantle have made a crucial inclusion for Sunday’s conference-leading clash against Brisbane at Fremantle Oval, with defender Evie Gooch coming into the team.
Both teams are unbeaten in the 2020 NAB AFL Women’s competition and lead their respective conferences, with Fremantle holding a perfect 4-0 record in Conference B and Brisbane on three wins and a draw in Conference A.
Gooch has come in after missing Fremantle’s thrilling round four win against St Kilda due to a minor quad injury.
She replaces 18-year-old midfielder Bianca Webb in the lineup.
Gooch has played three of Fremantle’s four games this season, being named in the AFLW team of the week in round two for her four mark and 11 disposal performance against West Coast.
Bouncedown for the clash is at 2.10pm on Sunday and will be broadcast live into Perth on Channel 7 and Foxtel. The game can also be steamed live on the AFL Women’s app and Kayo.
