Fremantle are set to recall elite defender Evie Gooch for the crucial clash between Fremantle and Brisbane at Fremantle Oval on Sunday.
Both teams are unbeaten in the 2020 NAB AFL Women’s competition and lead their respective conferences, with Fremantle holding a perfect 4-0 record in Conference B and Brisbane on three wins and a draw in Conference A.
Gooch has been included in the extended squad alongside versatile forward/defender Mia-Rae Clifford, who last played in Fremantle’s round one win against Geelong.
No omissions have been made at this stage, with the final team to be announced on Friday afternoon via fremantlefc.com.au.
Gooch has been named on the wing against the Lions after missing Freo’s one-point thriller against St Kilda in round four due to a minor quad injury.
She was in the AFLW team of the week in round two for her four mark and 11 disposal performance against West Coast.
