Fremantle sports science manager Jason Weber is hopeful Zac Clarke will be available for selection in Sunday’s Carlton Draught Derby against West Coast.
 
The ruckman came off the ground late in Freo’s 44-point win over Geelong with a knee injury.

Weber said the medical staff would assess the 25-year-old closer to the match.
 
“Zac’s had investigations through the last couple of days,” Weber said.
 
“Doctors and physios have been working really hard with him.
 
“At this stage he’s a test for this week…we hope to get him up, but that will be judged by the medical staff.”
 
In a boost for Freo’s defence, Alex Silvagni has been recovering well from his hamstring injury and should be available for the round 4 Len Hall Tribute game against Sydney.
 
“Alex is doing really well, he’ll tick off his rehab program towards the end of this week,” Weber said.
 
“He’ll rejoin the group next week and be available for match committee from there.”
 
Tommy Sheridan was withdrawn from the squad to take on Geelong last Friday due to a low-grade calf injury caused by overload, but the midfielder should be available for next week.
 
Key defender Zac Dawson is also progressing well from a groin injury and should be available in another four weeks.
