The Fremantle Football Club and Australia’s second largest non-government health insurer, HBA, have joined forces for the next three years.
Chief Executive Officer Cameron Schwab said today that “the club had been seeking the right health insurance partner and with HBA we have secured a leading health fund with outstanding expertise and experience in the industry.”
“HBA is synonymous with health insurance and their work in the community and this is a key partnership for our club,” Mr Schwab said.
“We look forward to working with HBA as they expand their services into Western Australia.
“I encourage all of Fremantle’s members and supporters thinking of health insurance or looking to change their health insurance coverage to consider the benefits offered by HBA,” said Mr Schwab.
HBA’s General Manager Tony Forster said that “when HBA was looking for a partner in Western Australia, our priority was to build stronger links with the community in a way that would encourage people to lead healthy lifestyles”.
“Joining with the Fremantle Football Club is a natural fit, as we both promote the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle – be it as a professional player on the football field or just for personal fitness in the wider community,” Mr Forster said.
“This partnership also signals the expansion of HBA services into Western Australia. We are pleased to provide a better alternative in improving access to quality and affordable health insurance for even more Australians.
“More than a million Australians currently trust HBA to support their health and care needs and we have a proud record of delivering excellent customer service,” Mr Forster said.
