Peel Thunder lost a hard fought game against top of the ladder South Fremantle on Saturday.
The final deficit of 41-points wasn't indicative of how close the game was, as the Bulldogs' kicked away in a tight game with an impressive seven goal final term.
Peel currently sit fourth on the WAFL ladder and will prepare for a round 10 challenge against the fifth place East Perth.
A number of Freo-listed players have been performing well in the WAFL, and this continued against South Fremantle in round nine.
 
Sam Collins
Played fullback on Ben Saunders and did a good job all game on the dangerous forward 
Matthew Uebergang
Played a key defensive role and was solid. He took some nice intercept marks to halt South Fremantle attacks
Ryan Nyhuis
Played in the backline again and didn’t put a foot wrong, and his ball use continues to be good
Darcy Tucker 
Played on the wing and provided good run out of defence and used the ball well
Brady Grey
Played in a mid-forward role and worked hard all game. He attacked the contest and tackled well. 
Matt de Boer
Played in the midfield and was good with 39 touches and worked hard in and around the stoppages and managed to kick a goal as well.
Michael Barlow  
Played in the midfield and found plenty of the ball, finished with 39 disposals.
Jack Hannath
Played in the ruck and gave good effort. Rucked most of the game and also took some nice marks around the ground
Tanner Smith
Played in a forward-ruck role was solid. Finished the game with one goal and got himself in a scoring position throughout the game.
Michael Apeness
Played in the forward line in his first game of the year and provided a good contest in the air and kicked two goals
Josh Deluca
Played half-forward and worked hard all game. He continues to play his role and use the ball well
