Fremantle will head into Sunday’s clash against St Kilda with a focus on continuing to improve a number of key areas, says Lachie Neale.
Neale said the side had taken steps on its focus areas, such as ball-use, turnovers and structures, in Sunday’s win over the Giants but there was still room to improve.
“We’ve reviewed our game, we’ve still got a bit more to go and we’ve improved on last week’s game,” he said.
From the Saints: Experience in the mix
“We focused on our ball movement, team defence, slow play and turning it over in our attacking half a bit more.”
Neale said Freo would analyse how the Saints use the ball to force more turnovers.
“The focus is on turning the ball over in our attacking half leads to more scores, ultimately that is what we want to be doing,” he said.
Fremantle play St Kilda at Etihad Stadium on Sunday 9 August. Bounce down is at 4.40pm local time.
