Hayden Ballantyne is back and available for selection, after serving a two-week suspension.
Ballantyne was rubbed out for a high bump on Geelong’s Harry Taylor in Freo’s 44-point Round 2 win against the Cats.
The All Australian forward told 9 News Perth he was looking forward to getting back out on the field and admitted he found it hard to watch his team play from the sideline.
“I’m not a very good watcher of football, I like to get our there amongst it,” he said.
Ballantyne said there was no secret behind the club’s impressive 4-0 start to the year, just consistent effort across the group.
“I wouldn’t say we are doing a whole lot different, we’re all playing our role well,” he said.
“We are doing a whole lot of things right, not changing a lot.”
Ballantyne said midfield work from the likes of Nat Fyfe, David Mundy and Michael Barlow was a key part of the early season success.
“Our big body midfielders are really getting to work and dominating,” he said.
