Fremantle players will eagerly watch tonight’s knockout Semi-Final between Hawthorn and Adelaide to find out who they will play in next week’s blockbuster Preliminary Final.
Preliminary Final ticketing information
The Hawks and Crows lock horns at the MCG tonight for a place in the penultimate round of the finals against Fremantle at Domain Stadium on Friday 25 September.
Young Freo star Tommy Sheridan said the players would get together to watch the match.
“We’re going to Seany (Sean Hurley) and Tabs’ (Matt Taberner) house tonight,” he said.
“Sean is cooking up a little barbecue, we’ll put the footy on and tune in.
“I’m looking forward to it.”
Training report: Purple haze
After earning the week off, with its Qualifying Final win over Sydney last Saturday, the side was put through a high-intensity training session on Friday morning before recovery over the weekend.
“I haven’t checked the weather but I might get down to the beach, just relax into recovery mode and take it easy,” Sheridan said.
“I’ve got some university study to catch up on too.”
