Four big-name Fremantle players will line up to play for Peel Thunder in the WAFL this weekend to prove their readiness before facing Port Adelaide in round one.
Prepare for a Purple Haze
The AFL has granted eight clubs permission to field players in state league matches for a final pre-season hit-out prior to the season kicking-off on April 2.
Each player has either had a reduced or interrupted preparation during the NAB Challenge.
Star Freo midfielder Michael Barlow, Paul Duffield, Garrick Ibbotson and Danyle Pearce are among 10 Freo players set to line up for WAFL affiliate Peel Thunder on Saturday.
Barlow (ankle) and Duffield (shoulder) have not played since they were injured in their first NAB Challenge clash against Melbourne on March 5.
