Fremantle midfielder David Mundy has played plenty of games alongside captain Matthew Pavlich.
The pair have become synonymous with the Fremantle Football Club, together experiencing the highs and lows of the AFL.
Ahead of Pavlich’s testimonial dinner at Crown Perth tomorrow night, Mundy has praised the Freo captain for his passion and leadership.
Pav-tastic statistics
“Matthew’s record speaks for itself,” he told AFL 360 on Wednesday night
“He’s the highest acclaimed individual player we’ve had.”
Mundy said while Pavlich’s six All Australian guernseys and more than 650 career goals were remarkable achievements, the captain was driven by one thing and that is team success.
Pavlich still at the top: Barlow
“He certainly deserves all the personal accolades but I know Matthew is really striving for team success,” he said.
“He puts his hand up each and every week as our captain.
“He is a fantastic player and leader.”
